THE ULTIMATUM by Karen Robards is very good.Bianca was the result of an experiment.  Well, her strength, skill and other abilities were.  She was hidden away by her mother, when her mother was murdered and her house blown up.  Bianca survived and was found by a man, who says he's her father.  Her father, Richard St. Ives, has taught her everything she knows.  She can open a locked safe in seconds, she can steal museum pieces without getting caught and she can kill without guilt.  But, when the government gets involved she may hav met her match or not.  Must read to find out.  Miss Robards is the master of mystery.

THE PERFECT STRANGER by Megan Miranda

How does someone disappear?  Don't take anything with you.  That is what Emmy did, until she got too close to Leah.  Leah is a defrocked journalist and Emmy is running, also, but from what?  Emmy says it is an abusive fiancé, a bad family life anything she can think of to say.  Until Emmy disappears, Leah thought Emmy was her best friend.  And then...... things begin to get strange.  There is no record of Emmy.  The police begin to distrust Leah and they believe she may be a double murderer.  I enjoyed the thriller but have one question how did Leah convince the police she wasn't a murderer?  And Kyle believe who she really was. I felt Megan left a bit of the story out or wasn't clear about it.  Otherwise a great psychological thriller.
