THE PATRIOT THREAT by Steve Berry is an historical fiction.  Events from the Roosevelt era are referenced in abundance.  There was animosity between Roosevelt and Mellon.  Although, they were enemies they were more alike than Roosevelt knew.  Mellon tried to get Roosevelt to listen to his advice but Roosevelt wouldn't.  Mellon then, gave Roosevelt a mystery to solve to show him this.  Roosevelt never solved it but many men have tried to in years past.  But leave it to "Cotton" Malone and he'll figure it out.  But what will they do with the solution is the question.
